China, around 1800 (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Porcelain with polychrome painting with the dominant colours red and green. Ovoid bellied body with 2 side handles in the shape of mythical creatures. At both sides of the wall a large dragon with pearl and carpe on a stylised cloud-underground underneath a ruyi-border. At the cover 3 carpes jumping out of the water on a cloud-ground. Handle of the cover in the shape of a Fô-dog. Mark with auspicious wish (Fou Shou Kang Ning). H. 29,5 cm.
