China, probably Song-dynasty (960-1279). Stoneware with an opaque light blue glaze and purple highlights (yunyao). Strong body with rolling profile and projecting rim. At the inside of the rim 3 ornaments in relief in the shape of a bow. From there 3 drawn purple dots running to the centre. Unglazed and spiral patterned bottom. Inside partly with craquelé. Diam. 13 cm.
