China, late Song-dynasty (960-1279). Ceramic with a thick light green glaze. Overall adhesions with sea shells and mud, which indicate the former load of a shipwreck. Underneath the layer the original bowl with the characteristic irregular ending of the glaze and the unglazed foot is still identifiable. Chip at the stand. Diam. 21 cm.
