Meissen, around 1860. A dynamically modelled timepiece with rocailles and rich plastical decoration. Crowned by an allegorical figurine of Flora, accompanied by a putto with garland. Underneath the dial plate a bust of Chronos, the god of time. At the base a painting with a romantic scene. Crossed swords in u"glaze blue with pommel, incised "2717". Small fire crack to the base. Min. rest. H. 43 cm.
