German, 19th cent. Mahogani, veneered and with light brown inlays of bands. A small square case on 4 brass sheet feet, the cover with a colour lithography, partly hand-coloured, of a homestead in front of a mountainous landscape. Inside the case on red velvet, toiletries in silver, such as flacon, scissors (dam.), small knife and a thimble, partly with metal blades and metal tops and with a mirror in the back of the cover. Music box with key (def.). H. 7 cm, 23 x 18 cm.
