German, c. 1930"s. Silver, marked "925", "Handarbeit" and with makers mark "H. Wilm Berlin". Numb. 67. Model by Peter Behrens before 1929. In the 1930"s the service has been produced many times. One of such services in the Bröhan Museum, Berlin. 4 pieces: coffee pot (H. 24 cm), teapot (H. 15,5 cm), creamer, sugar bowl. Ivory knob with siver cover, in there an engrace "T" (the small can has it on the side). (Comp. Metallkunst der Moderne, Bröhan-Museum, Bd. VI, p. 99, 345). Weight in total c. 1500 g. - Prov.: Hans von Ohlendorff. - The Ohlendorff belong since the mid 19th cent. to the richest families within Hamburg.
