Baudoin, he began in a cubist style but soon turned to surrealism, by fasting, sleep deprivation a. drugs he tried to get direct access to his subconciousness which he painted in his so called "automatic drawings", during the Nazi time he emigrated to the USA where his work heavily influenced painters of abstract expressionism like J.
