Achenbach, W. Sohn a. E. v. Gebhardt since 1869, in 1890 he moved to Munich but returned to Düsseldorf in 1900, since 1876 he exhibited at the Düsseldorf a. Berlin academy exhibitions as well as at the Munich Glaspalast, he was decorated in Berlin a. Antwerp. - Mus.: Berlin (Nat.-Gal.), Breslau. - Lit.: Boetticher, Thieme-Becker, Bénézit.
