Huddersfield, around 1815. Mahogani, nuttree, exotic wood, veneered. Metal dial, painted with flower decorations, labelled 'J Bates Huddersfield', creme coloured dial with black roman numerals, brass hands, moonphase with paintes landscape and coast scenes and date aperture, subsidiary second, strike on hour on bell. Anchor escapement, 2 weights, key, pendulum. Top clock cabinet with glass in front. (Comp. Loomes). Partly due to age cracks and defects. H. 245 cm, d. 25,5 cm, d. 59 cm.
