France, around 1930. Fayence, red glaze and sign. Later mounted as a pair of lamps on metal plinth with blackened lampshades, electrified with 2 lampholders. Figure h. 22,5 cm, 35,5 x 9 cm, h. of lamp 53 cm. - Visited in Paris the Ecole Estienne, Ecole Boulle and Ecole des Arts Appliques. Worked 1923 for Primavera and later for Saint-Clement and Dim as well as for Maurice Dufrene and Sainte-Radegonde, exhibited 1925 in Salon d'Automne amongst others with Raoul Dufy, Fernand Leger and Le Corbusier.
