China, 19th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Ceramic with red body, completely wrapped by a pewter case with jade handles and nozzle. At the front of the wall a poetic inscription, verso dat. 'dinghai' year (corresponding to 1827). Inside applied four-character mark 'Yang peng nian zao'. The inside with fissures. H. 7 cm, l. 15 cm.
