China, late Ming-dynasty (16th/17th cent.). Porcelain with blue painting. Characteristic tall trumpet shape with bellied middle section. The upper sections with depictions of flying dragons on each side, the middle with a peacock pair among blossoming peonies. At the foot a wave-and-rock border with lingzhi mushrooms. H. 52,5 cm.
