China, beg. of 20th cent. Ceramic with red body, completely wrapped by a pewter case with jade handles and spout. Hexagonal wall, at the front with cut inscription of a poetic line, verso with weed. Four-character mark 'Wu Yungen zhi' (吴云根制). H. 11 cm.
