Hopf Norwegen 1942 as well as indistinctly inscribed, unframed. - Versatile German landscape a. figure painter, trained at the Hanau drawing acadamy a. apprenticeship as goldsmith, member of the Hamburger Künstlerverein, in 1927/28 he exhibited with the Hamburg secession, 1930 first of numerous travels to Norway, all of his works were destroyed in WW II, in 1950 he became member of the Hamburgische Künstlerschaft. - Mus.: Hamburg (Kunsthalle a. others), Schleswig (SHLM). - Lit.: Vollmer, Rump, Der Neue Rump a. others.
