Pencil drawing, 17 x 15,5 cm, up. le. sign. W. Busch, on the reverse pencil drawing of a seated woman with arms stretched out, on the mount inscription 'Eigenthümer Prof. A. Nöldeke', matted a. framed under glass. - One of the most important humoristic German draughtsmen. B. studied in Düsseldorf, Antwerp a. Munich where he joined the artist's club 'Jung-München'. After working in Frankfurt for a short time he spent the rest of life in his Lower Saxony homeland since 1978, becoming a maverick. Towards the end of his artistic career he developed an abstract avantgardist style.
