Beside him a Lyra with a ribbon inscribed 'Philomele'. Lab. on the back 'Hölbe. Dresden'. Crossed swords in u'glaze blue and inc. num. 'N195/96x'. Partly rest., min. chip. H. 41 cm. - German sculptor, studied in Leipzig and Dresden, since 1886 he produces mythological and historical sculptures, which have won several prices.
