Sèvres, 18th cent., decoration 19th cent. Form 'Duplessis'. In the centre, surrounded by garland of flowers, in a floral gilded cartouche, a finely painted portrait of Madame de Fontanges respectively Francoise d'Aubigné, Marquise de Maintenon, both mistresses of Louis XIV. On the turquoise border reserves with fine flower painting, one plate with the emblem of the Sforza dynasty. On the reverse side crossed 'L'. Dm. 24 cm.
