Nuremberg, end of 17th cent. Silver with rest of an old gilding, stamped with Nuremberg city mark and MM.: 'SBF' in heart-shaped cartouche, zick zack line. Cylindrical on three ball-and-claw feet, body with curved godrons and embossed tulips and other flowers. (Comp. Rosenberg, vol. III., no. 3766 and 4227). H. 12 cm, weight c. 245 g. - Two beakers of Sigmund Bierfreund are located in the Collection of the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nürnberg. Comp. Ausst.-Kat.
