Around 1910/20. Bronze with patina, on a black marble base. Standing young girl in ashamed position. On the plinth sign. 'Prof. G. Janensch'. Figur h. 58 cm, marble base (chip) h. 10 cm. - German sculptor and medallion maker. Studied at the Berlin Academy under Fritz Schaper, Albert Wolff and Paul Thumann. 1884 Rome-Scolarship, since 1886 freelancer in Berlin, 1892 successor of Albert Wolff as Head of the modelling class at the Berlin Academy.
