Fürstenberg, around 1773. Polychrome painted figure of a standing countrywoman holding a rooster under her arm, in her right hand holding a hen. Manufactory mark 'F', impressed 'N02'. Min. chips. H. 9,5 cm. - Literature: The model ill. by Ducret III, fig. 181. - Porcelain modeller. L. came 1757 as a molder's trainee to the Fürstenberg Manufactory where he created around 80 porcelain groups and figures. 1776 he moved to Copenhagen where he was active as chief modeller of the Royal Manufactory.
