Mercker Mchn, on the reverse inscribed 'Stralsund Fischerboote I'. - German landscape painter, depicted preferably industrial landscaped, but also views of Hamubrg (among others in the administrative building of the Hamburg american steam ship company in New York), was awarded the large gold medal on the Paris world exposition in 1937.
