Lindemann-Frommel 1921 as well as inscribed 'Donaustauf', framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - German landscape a. marine painter, son of the landscape painter Karl. L.-F. studied between 1875 a. 1883 at the Munich a. Karlsruhe academies under A. Lier, G. Schönleber a. H. Baisch. In 1895 he exhibited at the Große Berliner Kunstausstellung. From 1896 to 1926 he lived in Laboe a. Kiel, thereafter he moved to Regensburg. He received many public commissions, among others paintings for the town halls of Mainz, Cologne a. Königsberg.
