Conical rectangular shape on 4 feet, the body with continous gilt leaf relief, the topside with gilt reliefed view to the Bosnian city of Jajce. Engraved dedication: 'Gospodinu Helmutu Schmidtu juni 1974'. H. 8 cm, w. 28 cm, d. 17 cm. - The box was a present to Helmut Schmidt given by Josip Tito, former President of Jugoslavia. - The box is depicted on a press photo showing Helmut Schmidt in his private residence with Leonid Breschnew, Willy Brandt et al. - Provenance: Helmut Schmidt, family Ruth Loah.
