Copenhagen, around 1980. Silver, stamped '925S Denmark Sterling N 10', mm.: 'Georg Jensen' in dotted circle, model no.: '1304'. Design by Jorgen Moller for Georg Jensen 1980ies. Box in cylinder shape with smooth surface. H. 9,5 cm, weight approx. 660 g. - Danish silversmith, 1895-1901 Studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen, then worked in the studio of the Danish court jeweler Michelsen. In 1904 opening of his own studio in Copenhagen where Jensen first produced works in the Art Nouveau style. Soon after he founded the company Georg Jensen, which is famous for their designs in the functional style of the Danish industrial designs.
