Around 1900. Bronze with brown patina, h. 45 cm, sign. on the plinth 'E.GOMANSKI' and foundry mark 'Akt.Ges.Gladenbeck.Berlin'. Marble base (min. chipped), h. 4 cm. - German sculptor and medal maker. After studying at the Berlin Art Academy under Fritz Schaper Gomansky exhibited his works yearly at the Große Berliner Kunstausst., especially portrait bust, genre figures and naturalistic animal bronzes. His most famous work in the Public Space ist the monumental Ceres-fountain in Oppeln.
