Kiel/Hamburg, early 20th century. Silver, partially gilded, stamped '835', assay mark, mm.: 'M.H.' and 'M. Hansen'. Comprising 4 parts: Carafe with silver bottleneck (h. 20 cm), beaker (h. 9,4 cm), bowl (h. 4,4 cm) and round tray (dm. 25 cm). Overall weight (without carafe) approx. 770 g. - Jeweller Hansen was till the business takeover 2016 a family run business with shops in Kiel and Hamburg. - 1814 established by Marten Heinrich Hansen in Kiel, he was in 1888 appointed as the Court Jeweller of the German Emperor.
