1980. Bronze. From the trilogy 'The Sea and the maid - Wave'. Sign. and dat. below 'Faltermeier 1980'. H. 57 cm, w. 30 cm, d. 8 cm. - German sculptor. After being trained as goldsmith F. studied at the Art Academy in Munich under Josef Wackerle. After long-term stay in Spain he returned to Munich in 1960 and created numerous works for the Public Space. During his last creation period in his atelier in Piesenkam (near Tegernsee) he focused in particular female sculptures, child sculptures, portraits and reliefs in bronze and marble.
