Oil/cardboard, 16 x 22 cm, lo. ri. sign. Montezin. - French landscape painter. M. had painting lessons by R. Fausse and at the Académie Bernard-Palissy but was mostly self-taught. After trying indefatigably for many years he was admitted to the Salon des Artistes Francais. In 1941 he became member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts as successor of Édouard Vuillard.
