Bronze with brown patina. At the lateral plinth's border foundry mark: 'GUSS H. NOACK FRIEDENAU BERLIN'. H. 36 cm. - The theme of a descending female in slight, graceful rotation exists both in the oeuvre of Georg Kolbe and Fritz Klimsch ('Melodie' oder 'Adagio'). The modelling of the surface indicates that the statuette possibly served as a model for a monumental sculpture. -
