Posthumous cast around 1911. Iron cast with black patina. Inscribed and dated to the bottom side in Cyrillic writing 'Year of manufacture 1911, factory Kasil, master A. Ignatov'. Figure group: h. 40,5 cm, 33,5 x 17,5 cm, ovale wooden plinth: h. 1,5 cm. - Russian sculptor, student of N.I. Lieberichs. His specialty was the depiction of the horse, which he studied on his annual trips in Russia. His oeuvre includes more than 400 riders and horses statues. Lit.: Thieme-Becker.
