Paris, around 1820/30. Silver, marked. Assaymark: guarantee- and hallmark from 1819-38, MM.: 'IFA'. On four paw feet square shaped plinth. Round, arched stand with shaft, merging in leaf-plate. Laid up grinded glass-bowl, rim with circumferential silver-mounting. Volute-handle with floral decor on each side. Arched lid with engraved monogram: 'LM' and sphinx- shaped handle.
