Disco alloy. On the reverse stamped 'Just', 'Denmark' and num. 1744. H. 26 x 23 x 25 cm - After being taught sculpting A. studied at the Copenhagen Academy of Arts and Crafts since 1910. He worked as designer for the silver smith Georg Jensen. In 1918 he opened his own workshop and created lightings and vessels, making use of gold and silver and of the disco alloy which was invented by A. Mus.: New York (Metrop. Mus.), Copenhagen, Stockholm, Leipzig. Lit.: AKL, Vollmer.
