Around 1900, made possibly by Metallwarenfabrik F.X. Dautzenberg, for which Hannig worked. Polished pewter. Obverse with reliefed portrait of a young girl, reverse with lily decor. Sign. 'R. Hannig'. Minute hole to the footrim. H. 49 cm. - Studied at the Academies in Dresden and Paris, worked for the Russian and Prussian Court. In France he is famous for his Art Nouveau objects in polished pewter.
