R. studied 1981-90 at the Leipzig 'Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst' under A. Rink and B. Heisig. 2005-2009 he was professor at that same academie. His works, merging figurative a. abstract elements make him one of the most succesful contemporary artists.
