Unique piece from 2010. Clear glass, painted red and blue, spacers of painted wood. Sign. and dat. 'ZERTOVA 2010'. Chipped. H. 48 cm, w. 30 cm, d. 14 cm. - Expertise: Certificate of Authenticity by Galerie Internationale du Verre, Biot (F). - Literature: Ill. in: Verriales 2010, ed. by. Galerie Internationale du Verre, Serge Lechaczynski, Biot 2010, p. 64/65. - Provenance: Galerie Internationale du Verre, Biot (F); Private Collection, Hamburg. - Czech glass artist, 1947-1950 educated at the State School for Graphic Design in Prague, 1950-1955 studies at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague. She is a pioneer of Czech studio glass, already in 1957 she was honoured with the silver medal at the Milano Triennal. During the 1990s she has begun to create her characteristic three-dimensional coloured compositions on flat glass screens. She is represented with her painted glass objects in many international museums.
