Hamburg landscape painter. G.-S. was first a student of F. Ahlers-Hestermann, P. Kayser and E. Hartmann at the art school of G. Koppel, then of J. Wohlers, A. Illies as well as E. Steinbach at the Landeskunstschule. She traveled to Italy and France, worked with G. Wohlwill and E. Bargheer. In 1939 she took over the direction of the Koppel Art School. Lit.: Vollmer, Rump.
