Julius Prömmel (Hamburg-Wandsbek um 1805 - Triest 1870) - Sell & Buy
Marine painter and ship designer. In 1832 and 1836 P. studied with W. Eckersberg in Copenhagen, from 1833 he exhibited in Charlottenborg and Altona. He worked in Apenrade and Hamburg as a shipbuilder, without giving up marine painting. In 1837 he traveled to Italy for the first time, and from the 1850s he worked as a shipbuilder in Trieste.
