German sculptor from the artist family Jastram, studied from 1984 wood sculpture at the College of Applied Arts in Schneeberg, since 1987 freelance artist, first in Ahrenshoop, then in Schwerin. Today he lives and works in Stralsund. He makes his figures mostly by free hand with the chainsaw from oak or elm Mus.: Schwerin, Staatl. Museum; Rostock, Kunsthalle
