Zao Wou-Ki (Peking 1921 - Nyon 2013) - Sell & Buy
Chinese-French painter and graphic artist of the Informel. 1935-41 he studied at the Hangzhou academy, where he continued working as a professor until 1947. Thereafter he emigrated to Paris and took lessons with É.-O. Friesz. In 1957 he travelled the USA with P. Soulages. Today Z. is one of the commercially most successful Chinese artists.
