Danish painter, sculptor and filmmaker. K. had a doctorate in geology. From 1958 he attended the art school of P. Gernes and T. Andersen in Copenhagen and initially created graphics, happenings and short films, later also paintings, bronzes and brick sculptures. K. was a professor in Karlsruhe and Frankfurt from 1978 to 2000 and exhibited twice at Documenta. Mus.: München (Pinakothek der Moderne), Frankfurt (Städel) a. others. Lit.: Weilbach.
