1941. Oil/cardboard. 68,5 x 100 cm. Lo. ri. artist's signet and dat. 1941. Inconspicuous scratches. - German landscape painter. V. completed an apprenticeship as a painter and was self-taught, including at the Folkwang Museum. In 1919, the gallery owner Alfred Flechtheim took him under contract, and from 1927 Viegener also exhibited at the Juryfreie Kunstausstellung in Berlin.
