China, 19th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Carved ivory. Sumptuous incense burner on 3 tall legs with claw feet and high domed cover. Heavily projecting side handles with rings. At both sides of the wall a large dragon relief. The cover with openwork and mask-shaped ring handles (partly cracked), crowned by 3 plastical Fô-dogs with brocade ball. Four-character Qianlong-mark. H. 41,5 cm.
