Heinsheimer as well as label of the executor with confirmation of authenticity. - Some of H.s paintings were exhibited 1928 on occasion of the Olympic Games in Amsterdam. In this painting H. shows olympic team of Canada playing against the team of the Berlin Schlittschuhclub. The Canadian team won the gold medal in the Olympic Games. - Literature: Klaus Kauffmann: F. H. ein rationaler Künstler in einer irrationalen Zeit, Hamburg 1990, p. 15. - German painter a. graphic artist. After serving the army H. became pupil of A. Jank in Munich in 1917, thereafter he was taught by M. Slevogt in Berlin. He was banned from his profession by the Nazis in 1939 a., with the assistance of friends, was able to hide in France. Like so many artists of the 'Lost Generation' his work is undeservedly unknown.
